Founder and mix engineer Marek Walaszek wanted a stereo Pultec-style equaliser he could recall when clients requested changes weeks later. That practical need became the starting point for Bettermaker. Its digitally recallable outboard keeps the audio processing analogue while using digital control to store and restore settings.
Tonal shaping or dynamics control? Our collection includes the PEQ Core, Stereo Passive Equalizer and Valve Stereo Passive Equalizer, alongside the Mastering Equalizer. The Bus Compressor and Mastering Compressor cover compression duties, while the Mastering Limiter 2.0 combines limiting, clipping and colour controls. The PEQ Core takes a different approach to the front panel: its 1U chassis leaves parameter adjustment to USB control, so factor that into how you want to work.
