Need a great small-footprint tracking / summing console in the studio? You're a small electronic band armed with synths, sequencers, and a bass guitar, or a DJ/producer equipped with a computer, a sampler, and a collection of cherished vinyl records, rest assured, we've got you covered.

This is the MX Modular base unit. It includes the Master section, Dual FX module and Digital 18ch I/O interface.

The MX Modular offers unparalleled flexibility with its support for both 500-series and 100-series modules. With 10 slots for 500-series modules, you can customise your signal processing chain to suit your specific needs. Additionally, the optional stereo backplane adapter allow you to transform two mono slots into a stereo slot seamlessly, accommodating Rodec's 100-series format. This modular approach ensures that your console evolves with your creative requirements, whether in the studio or on stage.

Designed with live performance in mind, the MX Modular includes programmable mute and solo buttons that can be grouped into scenes for easy recall during your sets. The console also boasts a digital FX module featuring Rodec-engineered delay and reverb algorithms, intuitively connected to AUX 1 and AUX 2. With 99 customisable preset banks, you can tailor your effects to enhance your live or studio performances.

At the heart of the MX Modular's master output lies a high-end, balanced design featuring discrete operational amplifiers and robust Lundahl transformers. This configuration delivers an impressive +28 dBu headroom, ensuring your mixes retain clarity and depth even at high output levels. Whether you're tracking, mixing, or performing live, this pristine output stage guarantees your sound is delivered with the utmost fidelity.

Bridging the gap between analog warmth and digital convenience, the MX Modular features a built-in low-latency, high-quality 18-in/18-out ADC/DAC class compliant interface powered by state-of-the-art AKM and ESS chips. This allows for seamless streaming of multi-channel audio to and from your computer or any other class compliant host, making it an ideal companion for hybrid setups that demand both tactile control and digital flexibility.

The MX Modular isn't just a console - it's the command center of your audio world. With 18 balanced inputs, direct outputs per channel, 2 stereo AUX sends, and 2 stereo BUS routings per channel, it gives you the freedom to shape, send, and return signals with surgical precision.

It features dedicated Master, Monitor, and External Outputs, giving you precise routing options for front-of-house, booth, or secondary systems. On the input side, RCA jacks allow direct connection to optional M-101-series phono stages.

Need control? You've got it - with four stereo CV inputs and a dedicated sidechain input, the MX becomes a dynamic, responsive part of your performance or production flow. Whether you're pushing signals or pulling in modulation, it’s all wired for creative freedom.
