Let the repeats become part of the performance. Australia’s Echo Fix builds tape echoes with hands-on control over speed, feedback and playback heads, alongside pedals for spring reverb, modulation and compression. We’ve got EF-X3 desktop, tolex and rackmount options for guitars, synths and studio sends (feedback needn’t stay politely in the background). Choose the format that puts the controls where you can reach them.

Echo Fix’s experience repairing tape echoes feeds into its own designs. The EF-X3 combines real tape delay with analogue BBD chorus and spring reverb. Individual playback-head outputs let you pan the repeats externally, while an automatic tape-stop circuit reduces tape and motor use between signals.

Tape machine or pedalboard? Alongside the EF-X3 range, our collection includes the EF-P2 spring reverb, EF-P3 Chorus Vibrato and EF-P5 FET compressor, including a matched stereo pair option.
