Hear the microphone placement, then hear what the mix needs. Grace Design builds mic preamps and monitor controllers with an emphasis on low noise and signal accuracy. Our collection spans single-channel recording, multichannel capture and stereo or immersive monitoring (the room still gets a vote). From an m101 beside the microphone to an m908 at the listening position, there are options for both ends of the session.
Michael Grace began building custom audio equipment in 1990. In 1994, he joined forces with his brother Eben to establish Grace Design and put the model 801 microphone preamp into production. That recording background runs through a range built around capturing and assessing the source.
One channel or several? Our collection includes the m101, m201 Mk2 and m801 Mk2, plus the m501 for 500 series racks. The m101 uses a transformerless circuit and a ribbon mode that raises input impedance and disables phantom power. For listening, m905 analogue and digital configurations sit alongside the m908 immersive controller and m900 headphone amp/DAC. Spacebar microphone accessories help position stereo arrays, while m303 and m303s DI boxes cover instrument connections.
Building a Grace Design setup around a particular session or speaker layout? Give Find Me Gear the model and configuration details, and we’ll help source it. In-stock equipment is ready to ship UK-wide.
