Heritage Audio
Peter Rodriguez turned up at Musikmesse with a handmade wooden box and two 80-series modules he’d designed himself, and Heritage Audio grew out of that. Based in Madrid since 2011, the company builds the British console circuits of the 70s, the 73-style preamp, as 500 series modules, rack units and the Successor compressor for the mix bus. We’ve got 73 JRs, HA-73s, Successors and RAM monitor controllers coming through.
Rodriguez was a civil engineer building wind turbines before he built preamps, which may explain the attention to detail. The 73 JR and 73 JR II put a Class A, transformer-balanced 73 preamp in a single 500 series slot, the HA-73X2 and HA-81A do it in the rack, the 2264JR and HA-609A bring back the diode-bridge compressor, and the Successor puts that circuit across a stereo mix. The RAM System 2000 and Baby RAM handle monitor control and the MCM-32 handles summing.
Through here come 73 JRs and 73 JR IIs, the HA 73 EQ Elite, HA-73X2 and HA-81A EQ, the 2264JR, HA-609A and Successor, the Symph EQ, the BT-500 V2, the MCM-32, the RAM System 2000 and Baby RAM, and the OST-4, OST-6 and OST-10 chassis to put the modules in. If the one you want has sold, tell us via Find Me Gear and we’ll flag the next one, checked over and ready to ship UK-wide.
