Four audio channels, one cable run. Kelsey’s 4CAT system carries balanced microphone and line signals over shielded Cat cable, helping keep your recording setup connected without a bulky multicore. Our collection includes four-channel input and output boxes, a twelve-channel output box and complete packs (less cable to coil at the end). Plan the channels and distances, then choose the boxes and cables to suit.
The 4CAT system is passive, carrying signals directly between matching boxes over shielded Cat5e, Cat6a or Cat7 cable. The four-channel pack includes input and output boxes with a 10-metre Duracat-5e EtherCON cable. For more sources, the twelve-channel output box brings three Cat cable runs together in a 1U rack, ready to connect to your mic preamps or other receiving equipment. Our range also includes a twelve-channel pack.
