Looptrotter

A little grit or a drum bus pushed hard? Looptrotter builds analogue processors for shaping dynamics and adding harmonics, with compressors and saturation hardware for individual tracks, groups and complete mixes. Our collection includes the Monster Compressor 2, SA2RATE 2 and SAT 500, covering rackmount and modular setups. Dial in the character, then blend it to suit the track (the dry signal still gets a vote).

The Monster Compressor 2 combines FET compression, valve saturation and dry/wet mixing, letting you control dynamics and colour within one unit. The dual-channel SA2RATE 2 takes a solid-state approach, with LO Safe and HI Smooth controls to shape how low and high frequencies respond to saturation.

Filling a spare slot? The SAT 500 brings single-channel saturation and independent dry/wet controls to our 500 series units, with the Emperor 500 also in the collection.
