How many channels does your room need? Lynx builds AD/DA converters and audio interfaces for getting analogue signals into a digital recording system and back out again. Our collection includes Aurora(n) configurations, earlier Aurora converters and Hilo, with connection options for different studio setups. Count your inputs, outboard sends and monitor feeds before choosing (those outputs soon fill up), then match the interface to the system.

Designed and built in Southern California, Aurora(n) uses a modular architecture with replaceable connection cards and expandable analogue I/O. Its onboard microSD recorder can capture audio directly, while two headphone outputs provide independent level controls. The design also draws on conversion technology developed for Hilo.

Thunderbolt 3, Dante or Pro Tools HD? Our Aurora(n) listings include 16-, 24- and 32-channel configurations across those connection formats. Earlier Aurora models and separate expansion cards also feature in the collection. Check the converter generation and fitted card together, then plan the connections to your mic preamps, outboard and monitoring. Choose cables with the correct connector wiring for each analogue or digital connection.
