EQ before compression, or after? Berlin’s Tegeler gives you both options in the Creme, combining passive tonal shaping and bus compression in one rack unit. Our collection extends to valve compressors, equalisers, channel strips and modular processors for recording and mixing. Start with the part of the signal you want to change (sometimes switching the order is the move you needed).
The Creme pairs a Pultec-style passive EQ with a VCA compressor, letting you change their order to hear how tonal adjustments affect compression. Its sidechain low-cut filter reduces the influence of bass on the compressor’s response. For a different approach to dynamics, the Vari Tube Compressor uses a vari-mu design, while Magnetismus 2 combines transient shaping with VCA compression.
Building a recording channel or filling a rack slot? The Vari Tube Recording Channel combines a valve preamp, passive EQ and opto and vari-mu compression. MythEQ 500, MythVCA 500 and Vocal Leveler 500 bring EQ and dynamics options to our 500 series units. The collection also includes the Tube Summing Mixer for analogue summing, alongside Creme RC and Schwerkraftmaschine for remotely controlled processing.
Have a particular Tegeler processor in mind? Give Find Me Gear the model details, and we’ll help get it into your rack. In-stock equipment is ready to ship UK-wide.
