TK Audio

TK Audio has spent years refining one of the best-loved stereo compressor recipes in the business. Thomas Kristiansson founded the company in Halmstad, on Sweden’s west coast, in 2008, and the BC1, with its built-in blend control for parallel compression, put it on the map. We’ve got BC1s in several revisions, the BC2-ME, 500 series modules and TK-Lizer EQs coming through.

The BC1 takes its cue from the SSL G-Series console compressor (TK’s Vintagedesign Class A preamps came first), and it has grown through the BC1-S, the 10th-anniversary BC1 Ltd with its THD and Grab settings, and the BC1-THD. The BC2-ME is the mastering edition, the BC501 and BC501-LTD put it in a lunchbox, and the T-Komp 500 has a progressive ratio that rises with the threshold.

The TK-Lizer 2 and TK-Lizer 500 are wide-curve mastering equalisers, and the MB1 Mini Blender and SP501 round out the range. If you can’t see the one you want, tell Find Me Gear. Everything is tested and ready to ship UK-wide.
