Warm Audio
Bryce Young started Warm Audio in a garage near Austin, Texas in 2011 with one product, the WA12 preamp, and a plan: build the classic circuits properly so more people could own one. The WA76 came in 2014, the WA-2A and WA-87 in 2016, the WA-47 in 2018 and the WA-251 the year after. We’ve got Warm Audio compressors, preamps, EQs and mics coming through.
Every Warm Audio box is a known quantity before you plug it in: the WA76 is the FET compressor, the WA-2A the optical one, the EQP-WA a passive valve EQ in the Pultec mould, the WA73 and WA273 the British Class A preamp, the WA-412 the four-channel American one and the Bus-Comp a VCA stereo compressor for the mix. The mics follow the same logic: WA-87 and WA-67, WA-47 and WA-47F, the WA-251 and WA-CX12 with the Vienna-style capsule, and the WA-84 for pairs on overheads (the WA-2A won a TEC Award in 2017, which the original never did).
Here they come through as EQP-WA pairs, WA-412s, the WA-2A, WA76 and Bus-Comp, the WA-1B valve opto, the TB12 Tone Beast, the WA-2MPX and the WA273-EQ, and the mics from WA-87 R2 and WA-47F to WA-251, WA-CX12 and a stereo pair of WA-84s. If the one you want has gone, put it through Find Me Gear and we’ll let you know when the next one lands, checked over and ready to ship UK-wide.
