Burl Audio B26 Orca
The Burl Audio B26 Orca is a mastering-grade 2RU analog monitor management controller engineered for uncompromised transparency, 3D stereo imaging, and absolute signal fidelity. The B26 Orca allows mixing and mastering engineers to make critical level and EQ decisions without colouration, phase smearing, or dynamic compression introduced by the monitoring chain.
Control room volume is set via a custom matched resistor stepped attenuator. This guarantees sharp left/right channel tracking and stereo balance across the entire volume range, even at ultra-low monitoring levels.
The front panel is split into independent Control Room and Studio sections. The Control Room section manages source switching across main mixes, 2-track returns, and reference players, feeding two main speaker pairs and a high-power headphone amplifier. The Studio section operates independently allowing you to feed a custom cue mix and dedicated headphone mix to tracking artists without altering what is being monitored in the control room.
