The dual-channel microphone preamplifier with discrete technology for outstanding sound.
Pre One is equipped with two preamplifiers. These have a discrete design and they are tuned for an open and transparent sound characteristic. In addition to the microphone input, the second preamplifier also features a Hi-Z instrument input - so instruments like electric guitars, for example, can benefit from the sound of the Pre One. In terms of technology and sound, the preamps have the same characteristics
as those in the SPL Channel One Mk3!
The gain control can be used to adjust the preamplifcation. The control range ranges between +8 dB and +62 dB - so even really demanding microphones can unfold their full potential! (The green signal LED indicates that a signal is present.)
A high-pass filter with 6 dB per octave is available in both preamp sections and reduces subsonic noise below 80 Hz when activated. This low-cut filter can be used for the microphone inputs as well as for the instrument input on the second amplifier.
For each of the two preamps, Flair and Contour provide an analogue EQ preset to perfect the sound. When Flair is activated, it gives the signal an incredibly beautiful range of high frequencies – silky highs is the key word here. When Contour is activated, the signal perfectly blends into a compact mix while retaining its natural presence and strength.

With such a wide range of products we cant stock everything at all times.
The product page will display if an item is in stock. If it is marked as pre-order, you can place your order as normal and await its arrival into stock.

What warranty do you get with new gear?
Minimum 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Some manufacturers may also extend this (please see their respective websites for more information).
