Yamaha

Yamaha has been building instruments since Torakusu Yamaha made his first reed organ in Hamamatsu in 1887, and its studio gear is just as hard to escape: NS10s on meter bridges everywhere, an SPX90 in every 80s rack and FM synths that defined a decade. We’ve got studio monitors, reverbs, power amps, FM modules, samplers, sequencers and the SKRM-100 Subkick coming through.

Monitoring first: NS10M, NS10M Pro and NS-10M Studio pairs, the JA0518 and JA0518A tweeters and JA-1801 woofers that keep them going, HS7 and HS8 monitors, the HS8S and SW10 subwoofers, and P2500S and P2075 power amps to drive the passive ones.

In the rack, the SPX90 and SPX990 multi-effects, the R100 reverb, the D1500 delay and the SRev1 sampling reverb cover space and time, while the MLA8 mic and line amp and the AD8HR converter each give you eight preamps. FM fans get the TX816 rack (eight DX7s’ worth of FM in one frame), the TX81Z and the Reface DX, with the A5000 sampler and QY100 sequencer alongside.

If the model you need isn’t listed, Find Me Gear will find it. Every unit is tested and ready to ship UK-wide.
