Developed in close collaboration with legendary mix engineer Chris Lord-Alge, the CLA-10A Limited Edition is an authentic, powered homage to the iconic "white cone" studio monitor that has defined the sound of hit records for years.
Featuring an unforgiving, midrange-forward frequency response, the CLA-10A Limited Edition focuses on some of the most critical elements of your project. Getting your mix sounding great on a pair of CLA-10s means it will sound great on any playback system.
The AV10-MHF Tweeter: Underwent rigorous testing to duplicate the exact phenolic resin doping and high-frequency performance curve of the vintage original.
The AV10-MLF Woofer: Features custom- mechanical parts that mirror the original stiffness and weight. By using an advanced pressed-cone design instead of a lapped cone, Avantone achieves consistency, making perfectly matched pairs readily available.
With certain generations of the original passive monitors, some engineers resorted to taping tissue paper over the tweeters to tame the top end. The CLA-10 Active solves this by emulating every era with an onboard VTPC (Variable Tissue Paper Control) knob. This allows you to fluidly dial in the acoustic response of anything from the early vertical models to the later horizontal "Studio" models.
Avantone bypassed lightweight Class D topology in favour of a traditional linear power supply. Driven by a huge toroidal transformer and Class AB amplifier module, the system delivers a rock-solid 200W RMS with an exceptionally low 0.005 THD at low power, giving you highly transparent performance and immense headroom.

With such a wide range of products we cant stock everything at all times.
The product page will display if an item is in stock. If it is marked as pre-order, you can place your order as normal and await its arrival into stock.

What warranty do you get with new gear?
Minimum 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Some manufacturers may also extend this (please see their respective websites for more information).
