Avantone

Does the vocal still sit right on a smaller speaker? Avantone’s MixCubes give you another perspective on the balance, while its CLA range brings white-cone studio monitors and power amplifiers into the picture. We’ve got active and passive options for your monitoring setup, from a single reference cube to a stereo pair (the car stereo can wait). Hear what survives beyond your main monitors.

Avantone’s approach draws on familiar studio references. Its MixCubes revisit the compact, single-driver cube format, using a 5.25-inch driver in a sealed cabinet. The CLA-10 project brought Chris Lord-Alge into the development process, with attention paid to recreating the drivers and response of the classic white-cone monitor. These designs give you different ways to judge midrange balance and how clearly individual parts come through.

Powered speakers or a separate amp? Our collection includes active and passive MixCubes, CLA-10 monitor options and CLA-100, CLA-200 and CLA-400 amplifiers. The CLA-Sub adds a subwoofer option. If you’re switching between your main speakers and a second reference, consider how your monitor controller will handle both.

Need one cube, a pair or a particular amplifier? Give Find Me Gear the details and we’ll help put the setup together. In-stock equipment is ready to ship UK-wide.
