Every engineer knows the frustration of a mix that does not translate on a car stereo or phone speaker. Avantone Mixcubes are built specifically to solve this problem. Engineered to simulate the midrange-focused response of consumer devices, such as laptops, TVs, car stereos, and portable speakers, saving you from endless reference trips.
The Passive Mixcube upgrade the classic studio cube concept, pairing a highly refined cabinet design with an ultra-clean, transparent driver path that handles external amplification beautifully.
Key Features
- Proprietary 5.25" Driver: Features a custom-designed New Zealand pulp and mica fiber cone, paired with a low-distortion MIL-SPEC magnet structure for open, transparent midrange translation.
- Acoustically Isolated Cabinet: Constructed from dense, low-resonance 18mm MDF with a sealed design and a 7mm acoustic-isolating neoprene base pad.
- Heavy-Duty Binding Posts: Equipped with high-end, CE-rated 3-way binding posts on an aluminium terminal plate, accepting up to 12-gauge wire, spade lugs, or dual banana plugs.
- Flexible Mounting: Includes a built-in, industry-standard 5/8”-27 mic stand mount on the base for easy setup when desk space is limited or when tracking on location.

Are all new items in stock?
With such a wide range of products we cant stock everything at all times.
The product page will display if an item is in stock. If it is marked as pre-order, you can place your order as normal and await its arrival into stock.
Please get in touch for an estimated shipping date. This may vary depending on stocking level with the manufacturer and/or distributor.
What warranty do you get with new gear?
Minimum 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Some manufacturers may also extend this (please see their respective websites for more information).
Can I part exchange used gear towards new gear?

Can I test the equipment before I buy it?
