Powered by standard +48V phantom power (supplied individually per channel from your console or interface), the CL-4 drives its internal JFET gain stages while blocking DC voltage from passing downstream to connected microphones. This guarantees full protection for passive ribbon microphones, vintage dynamic capsules, and tube microphone power supplies.
